Level 2 – Foundations of Handgun Principles for Armed Congregants

Duration: One day

Prerequisite: Level 1

Level 2 is designed for congregants and safety team members who are authorized to carry firearms in ministry or school environments. This course focuses heavily on accuracy development and multiple target selection, ensuring students can place rounds precisely and transition between threats safely and responsibly. Instruction includes safe handling, marksmanship fundamentals, recoil management, and stress‑based shooting concepts. Students also learn how to maintain accountability and discipline while carrying a firearm in a faith‑based setting.

Requirements:

• Pass the State of Tennessee Armed Security Guard shooting qualification
• Bring 250 rounds of ammunition
