Students learn the essential shooting fundamentals that form the backbone of all defensive handgun skills. This class focuses on grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, and follow‑through. Students receive a structured dry‑fire homework assignment designed to build consistency and prepare them for EDC 4.

Skills Covered:

• Proper grip and recoil control
• Stance and body alignment
• Sight alignment and sight picture
• Trigger press and reset
• Dry‑fire development plan

Ammunition Requirement:

• 150 rounds

Handgun:

• Bring your own (rentals available)

Prerequisite:

Completion of EDC 2
